iTEC Level 5 Sports Massage CertificateÂ

 A Level 5 certificate signifies a higher level of expertise and competence in sports massage, stepping up from Level 3 & Level 4.  The Level 5 Sports Massage course involves more advanced techniques, anatomy and physiology knowledge, and practical skills specific to sports massage therapy.
Modules include:
- Advanced/Tailored Massage Techniques
- In Depth Anatomy & Physiology - Relating to Sports Injuries & Rehabilitation
- Assessment & Evaluation of Sports/Nerve Injuries and Underlying Conditions
- Evaluating Treatment Options, Application of Appropriate Massage Techniques
- Sports Nutrition
- Business Module
- Real-life, Hands-on Experience in the Bodytree Community Clinics

- Bodytree Level 5 Certificate in Sports Massage Therapy
- iTEC Level 5 Certificate in Sports Massage Therapy
- 15 Practical and Supervised Hours
Level 3 & 4 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy a prerequisite requirement for this course

Tutor Team
Our tutor team is led by Tracy O Donoghue, a multi disciplined therapist of 20+ years, with over 15 years’ experience teaching with ITEC.
All our tutors hold qualifications in ITEC Level 4 Certificates in Education and Training and are successful in their own private clinics. Tutors teach in their specialised areas, though hold qualifications and have experience in various fields of
therapy. This will add a deeper knowledge, variety and confidence to your skills as a qualifying tutor.
