Meet The Course Tutors

Jeff Heneghan

 

Jeff is a renowned High Performance Strength and Conditioning Coach dedicated to helping athletes and driven individuals maximise their potential. With experience working with Professional Rugby and Soccer teams from Academy set ups to Senior squads. Jeff has a Msc in Sports Performance from the University of Limerick (UL), and Bsc in Applied Strength and Conditioning from the Technical University of the Shannon Region (TUS).
Jeff combines sport science, nutrition and advanced training methodologies to craft personalised programs. Utilising industry leading sports testing equipment to assess, monitor and progress his clients to reach the pinnacle of performance.

Laura Delaney

 

Laura is a highly skilled sports therapist dedicated to guiding athletes and active individuals from pain to high level performance. With a deep understanding of human movement, injury rehabilitation and performance optimisation, she specialises in helping clients recover from injuries, manage chronic pain and unlock their full physical potential.

Laura blends evidence-based rehabilitation techniques with performance training to create personalised treatment plans. Her approach focuses on restoring mobility, enhancing strength and implementing injury prevention strategies. With experience working with both professional and amateur athletes, Laura has a track record of successfully rehabilitating a multitude of injuries. Her hands-on techniques including manual therapy, dry needling, corrective exercise and biomechanical analysis ensure a holistic approach to recovery and performance.

Passionate about educating and empowering clients, Laura believes in bridging the gap between rehabilitation and athletic excellence.

Course Details

This course will run for a duration 9 months, including a hybrid teaching model with online lectures, workshops, an online library and learning platform as well as additional resources. There will be 18 in-class days with a mix of theory and practical components. This makes it a practical learners ideal environment,  putting theory into practice on the same day it's taught.
